Packages containing various pulses produced by farmers working, in conjunction with the University of Awassa, to improve quality and yield displayed by the university. Pulses, such as chickpeas, lentils, and faba beans, are an important cash crop and source of protein. However, varieties currently grown in Ethiopia typically provide low yields, contain inadequate levels of protein and have limited capacity to improve the soil.
