12 year old Ashin Zanaka (left), a novice monk from laputta district in Ayeyarwaddy, shelters in a monastery in the Shwe Pyi Thar suburb of Yangon. He lost his three sisters, his father and one of his brothers in Cyclone Nargis. Only his mother and older brother survived. His mother is devastated but still insisted that he stay at the monastery, as it is not right for a monk to live in a normal home. Cyclone Nargis hit Burma on 02/05/2008.
