16 year old Fakamisi (Nancy) Uelesone walks with her young brother in a squatter settlement in Fakaifou made up of migrants from the outer islands. The tiny Pacific Island nation is one of the few places in the world already experiencing the devastating effects of climate change and global warming. Due to the rising sea level, erosion, and extreme weather events, the island is shrinking and may eventually disappear beneath the Pacific Ocean.
