Joyce Mbele's brother, who helped dig Joyce's grave after her death from an Aids related illness. Following the death of Joyce in early 2008, Lihle, her eldest daughter, became head of the household responsible for her two brothers, four cousins and her aunt who is too weak from Aids and TB to look after her own children. Child-headed households such as this are becoming more common in South Africa, as the Aids epidemic continues to ravage the country.
