A row of slum shacks running alongside water pipes in Dharavi India's biggest slum and home to more than a million people. The water pipes provide water to more affluent areas of Mumbai. In Dharavi people have very limited access to piped water and where it is available the flow often runs for a few hours each day. Slum dwellers frequently suffer from diseases attributed to poor water and sanitation facilities.
