A man from Sudan sits with his bandaged feet safely on board the Bourbon Argos after a long perilous journey during which he has suffered serious violence. He told an MSF (Medicins Sans Frontiere) cultural mediator that his feet were severely injured because one week ago he was repeatably beaten with an iron bar. In total, that day, MSF took on board 169 people in the Mediterranean sea, around 25 nautical miles from Libya.
