The burnt corpses of at least 55 men who it was claimed were executed by militiamen loyal to Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi (Gaddaffi) in Tripoli's Salahuddin district. The mass killing was one of the worst atrocities documented during Libya's revolution, the execution took place in a barn adjacent to Tripoli's largest military headquarters, where the men were shot and set alight.
