Anti-government protestors, on Copacabana Beach, celebrate by burning an effigy of Dilma Rousseff shortly after they watched on television as deputies of the Lower House of Congress voted to start the impeachment of the president. Now the Senate will vote, in early May, and if they agree with the Lower House then President Rousseff will be suspended for six months pending an impeachment trial, and her rival, vice-president Michel Temer, will take office.
