25-year-old Ghazi Gul, an employee of the NDS, Afghanistan's intelligence service. On January 24th, 2009 American special forces carried out a raid in the town of Garouch. The US military claim the attack only targeted insurgents although admit one of those killed was a woman who they say was in the process of firing a rocket-propelled grenade. However, local people insist that 16 civilian non-combatants were killed. Ghazi Gul says his father, mother, two brothers, a nephew and two nieces were killed during the incident. His home was one of many destroyed and he now lives in a refugee camp in Mehtar Lam.
