A portrait of a 38 year old Yazidi woman who was captured by Islamic State (IS) on 3 August 2014. After she spent several days in an industrial building with other villagers until 15 August she was sent to Syria with about 150 women. There she was given to an IS fighter from Tunisia as a gift. She was there until 3 March 2015. One day, she asked the IS fighter to give her a chance to talk to her family. Her family members negotiated with him and finally decided to pay $ 1,700 to have her released. She heard that her 11 year old son is now in an IS training camp where children are being trained to become future fighters.
