A visitor at the Museo del Prado looks at a pair of works by Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes (1746-1828). The one on the left is 'The Second of May 1808', also known as 'The Charge of the Mamelukes' and its companion on the right is 'The Third of May 1808'. They were painted, using oil on canvas, in 1814. /Felix Features
