Rosa Ghion: Rosa was born 79 years ago in Sao Paulo. She is the grandaughter of Italians from Padua, 'Saint Anthony's City'. Rosa still speaks Italian and even loves to do so. 'The Italian Sao Paulo is beginning to disappear. I no longer speak it: all my relatives have died.' Rosa has had two careers: first she was a hairdresser, then she became a seamstress. Today, in her old age, she lives in a small flat in the Belem district. 'Sao Paulo is a magnificent place. I can't see anything ugly about it, everything is simply fine.'
