Sei Kawapa, 60, takes care of his four month old grandson Fiapule in their house in Teone village. Sei's house was hit by tidal surges when Cyclone Pam hit Tuvalu in March 2015.
Sei recalls: 'Big waves hit our house, one of them destroyed a wall. It was unexpected, we were not prepared. It's good that I was near my grandson when the water came inside. I grabbed him and lifted him up. Otherwise he might have drowned or even taken by waves to the ocean, I don't know...'
