Raga Djibril carrying water home from a well in the village of Gadirga. She says that on most days she fetches a bucket of water in the morning and in the evening, topping up a supply she keeps in earthenware containers at her home. She says there are long queues for water in the dry season, but that during the rainy season (as when this photo was taken) it's easier to get water because villagers can use seasonal pools to water animals, do laundry etc.
