A cyclist passes a pool of water originating from the melting ice sheets on Mount Kilimanjaro (back, right). The melt water is generally used for the irrigation of farmland in the region. However, experts have predicted that the amount of ice on top of the mountain is in decline, which will result in less water for the whole area.
