The body of a young man who tried to escape the burning Kenya Assemblies of God Pentecostal church but was killed by the mob outside. At least 30 Kikuyu people, many of them children, were killed when members of the Kalenjin tribe attached the church where they had taken refuge. Unrest and ethnic violence followed protests against disputed election results. President Mwai Kibaki, a Kikuyu, was suspected of rigging the vote to retain power.
