Two Karen (Karenni) men in the process of building a new wood and bamboo house in an internally displaced persons (IDP) camp in Kaw Thoo Lei - the Karen State of Burma. The Burma Army have burnt down other IDP camps in the immediate vicinity on two previous occasions, forcing its residents to flee temporarily into Thai territories. Many of the refugees have returned to Kaw Thoo Lei, but are now at risk from the landmines that the soldiers left in the destroyed villages.
