Sergeant "Paddy" David Caldwell and his fiance Mel.in the Castle Gardens, Colchester. Caldwell was shot in Afghanistan and became the first tetraplegic to return to duty in the British army. Although still confined to a wheelchair, he has recovered enough movement to be given a job with 3 Para in Colchester as the senior NCO helping to run the unit's welfare office.
