Tamil families are slowly returning to thier homes in the town of Palampiddi after 4 years, due to the fighting. However there are problems such as some of the buildings still contain mines or are surrounded by mine fields. Some of the returning families have found a way to navigate through mine fields, by using the by product of war, ammo boxes. These boxes carried 120 mm artillery shells.
