Industrial workers at work near the furnace fire amid the fumes and smoke at a coal coking plant. The workers in these industrial plants are often directly exposed to the highly toxic (and carcinogenic) fumes that are emitted from the industrial processes involved in coke production. China is one of the world's largest producers and consumers of coke fuel. It is also one of the world's largest producers of both carbon and sulphur dioxide.
