Painted memorial to two adivasi tribal brothers who died fighting the authorities of the British Raj and are considered symbols of resistance against the influx of mining companies to the area. Lacking title deeds for land on which they have farmed and hunted for millennia, the rural adivasi communities are being displaced to make way for new industrial developments planned to capitalise on the land's mineral wealth. Adivasi resistance to these developments often illicits a violent response from the authorities and subsequently many are joining the Naxalites, a revolutionary communist group from the Indian communist movement. .
