Dendrobium Margaret Thatcher. This orchid was named after the British Prime Minister during her visit to the Botanical Gardens in Singapore in 1985. The gardens contain an enormous number of plant species, in both a manicured garden setting and in four hectares of primary jungle. The National Orchid Garden has the world's largest display of orchids featuring over 60,000 orchid plants.
