A soldier from the 22nd Chemical Battalion EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) operates a robot used to secure and inspect suspected IED devices. A mechanical arm and video cameras and sensors allow these robots to give the soldiers a safe view and the ability to defuse or detonate bombs.
