The Syrian ambassador to the UN, Fayssal Al-Hamwi, is interviewed by a TV crew as he leaves the emergency debate on Syria held at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. The debate was called in response to the worsening crisis in Syria where anti government forces, led by the Free Syrian Army (FSA), are fighting the Assad regime across the country and allegations of human rights abuses are proliferating. Al-Hamwi accused the council of promoting terrorism before leaving the meeting prematurely. .
