Passengers look out from a carriage on a Yangon Circle Line train as it passes through rural farmland in the north of Yangon. Each day, around 100,000 people use the route despite its antiquated rolling stock and infrastructure. The commuter line loops around the city stopping at 38 stations and taking just under three hours to complete the 45 km (28 miles) circle.
