The newspaper published a special edition after it was announced that Vaclav Havel had died. Havel was a playwright, essayist and poet who became active as a dissident after the Soviet Invasion of Czechoslovakia and ended up being the last president of united Czechoslovakia and the first president of the independent Czech Republic. He died on 18 December 2011 at the age of 75.
