A group of refugees, huddled against the rain, are caught in the headlights of a passing car as they walk along a main road in Hungary toward a point where they will be put on buses to take them to the Hungarian frontier. They are among a group of migrants that had walked from Budapest the previous afternoon and evening. More than 1,000 refugees began a march on foot to Vienna because the Hungarian government wouldn’t let them take trains to Austria and Germany. Faced with this, the Hungarian government suddenly reversed its policy. Overnight on September 5 a fleet of buses took 4,000 refugees to the border with Austria. /Felix Features
