20 year old Moni spends time at a shelter for prostitutes run by the local NGO SEEP, which is supported by Dutch NGO Terre des Hommes. The young women mostly work through the night and come to the shelter in the morning to sleep, eat and receive counselling. Moni used to work at a garment factory making t-shirts until she began getting beaten by her supervisor and turned to prostitution. Moni suffers psychologically, as well as physically, from the nature of her work. When things get too much, she cuts herself.
