Shell employee at an oil terminal in Gamba. The area is one of the worldÕs most important nature reserves, and is supposed to be protected by its national park status..Most of the inhabitants of Gamba work either directly or indirectly for Shell, but the oil reserves are nearing an end. When they run out, the population may be forced to turn to other sources of income such as logging and hunting within the nature reserve. To avoid this nightmare scenario WWF (the World Wildlife Fund) is trying to force Shell to develop a good exit strategy which would provide alternative income streams for the community.
