Children of migrant workers, who have come to Garden City to work at the Tyson meat packing plant, play basketball in a park where they live. The Tyson facility kills and processes between five and six thousand beef cattle every day. Kansas dominates the American beef industry, producing 25% of all beef raised in the USA. However, the industry is heavily dependent on cheap immigrant labour.
