For the first time in the 48 year history of the Aquadettes, the team will allow one of their members to use a device to move when they are out of the water. Beacuse she can no longer get around without it, 73 year old Margo Bouer's walker will be poolside throughout the performance at Laguna Woods, California. Margo suffers from severe MS, but says her nausea and shaking almost disappear when she is in the swimming pool. She has been with the Aquadettes for 16 years. The Aquadettes are a group of women ageing from their early 60s upwards who meet to practice synchronised swimming. Every year, they practice together, they make costumes together, they swim together, and at the end, they perform together.
