'Wherever you go, people know you are Scottish. In the bars they are like - 'Do you know my cousin or  great auntie? They are from Scotland.' I have had drinks bought for me. That’s never happened before in Glasgow.<br />

'Only three of 100 in my school year had red hair. The only big part it plays in life is the fact you can't go anywhere without burning. In May I was stuck in a traffic jam on the way home and got completely burned in 45 mins. I refuse to wear factor 50 as everyone expects that. The biggest nuisance is having to put suncream on.'
