A portrait of a woman standing on a snow-covered street in the village of Oymyakon. She walks weekly to the village from her home seven kilometers away in the extreme cold to do her shopping. The village is known as the Northern Pole of Cold as it has recorded the lowest ever temperatures for an inhabited place on earth, the coldest being -67.7 degrees celcius.
