Veronica Shipassiani (38) together with her nine year old son in the home they made in a room in the former Grand Hotel building. She says that she is afraid at night as robbers can easily break in into any room and steal people's money and possessions. Once a luxury destination for the wealthy and the continent's biggest hotel, the building is now a concrete shell and home to about 6,000 squatters. Those unable to occupy one of the rooms sleep in the corridors, basements and even on the roof of the building.
