19 year old Kiki cooks soup for the seven members of her family who now live as Internally Displaced People (IDPs), since their former home was covered by mud. Since May 2006, more than 10,000 people in the Porong subdistrict of Sidoarjo have been displaced by hot mud flowing from a natural gas well that was being drilled by the oil company Lapindo Brantas. The torrent of mud - up to 125,000 cubic metres per day - continued to flow three years later.
