Fatima Davdieva stands in front of the theatre where she used to work as an actress. A large portrait of Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov now stands above the entrance. Fatima, her husband, and their three children fled Grozny ten years ago during the Second Chechen War as refugees. Now as Belgian nationals they return for the first time to visit their friends, family and former home.
