A marine rests in a lumber yard whilst on a mission in Nishigham village in Nuristan. They have recently disrupted the illegal logging trade that smuggles wood across the border from Afghanistan causing some hostility in the area from local smugglers and gangsters. The mission was a joint patrol with the marines to the nearby village of Nishigham to re-supply an OP (Observation Post) that had been attacked the day before killing one ANA (Afghan National Army) soldier. The marines are acting as an ETT (Embedded Training Team) to mentor the ANA with the ultimate aim of leaving the country's security for the local Army to deal with.
