Kurdish shepherds with their sheep grazing on land that will disappear beneath 60 metres (200 feet) of water once the Ilusu hydroelectric dam being built in the background on the Tigris River is complete. The reservoir created by the dam will be approximately of 313 km2 (121 sq mi) and will flood several villages and the town of Hasankeyf.
