Coronation Park, on the outskirts of Delhi, the dilapidated home for statues of former British rulers which were moved there from various city centre locations following Indian independence. A statue of King George V stands in the centre of the park and marks the spot where, In 1911, in a magnificent ceremony, he was declared Emperor of India.
