A woman lights a torch on the 6th anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II in front of a statue of him. This statue was made by the villagers in 1985 during communist times and was kept in a garage for two years. Then in 1987 during the Pope's visit to Poland, they took a risk and put the monument up in a village. It has stood there ever since.
