11 year old patient Joylini has autism spectrum disorder. Since 2007 she has made regular visits to rehabilitation worker Juliana Mwacha at the CCBRT (Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania) disability centre in Moshi. Every day from Monday to Friday she spends four hours learning to take care of herself: comb her hair, use the toilet, etc. She is also improving her speach and pronunciation. When she first arrived at the centre she made no eye contact and was too shy to greet people. Now she says hello and goodbye to everybody.
