Lousnaica Nore, 17 years old, (orange t-shirt) and sister Angeline Nore, 15 years old (black and white t-shirt) live near the source of the river Moustique in Haut-Moustique. They are responsable for their family's water supply and together carry some 75 litres of water per day. They used to fetch this water from the river but since Belgian NGO PROTOS constructed water stand pipes in their village they can now fetch the water from it. They still have to carry the water up a hill but prefer this to the longer journey to the river and furthermore the river water wasn't clean and caused the family bouts of diarrhoea. They fetch the water before and after going to school.
