PMA01457POL.jpg
A statue of Pope John Paul II lit with candles on the 6th anniversary of his death. This statue was made by the villagers in 1985 during communist times and was kept in a garage for two years. Then in 1987 during the Pope's visit to Poland, they took a risk and put the monument up in a village. It has stood there ever since.
