Tom Baxter a 65 year old Vietnam veteran who every Sunday and Thursday protests against the U.S.'s ongoing wars in front of Florida's state capital building in Tallahassee, Florida. He says: 'This is America. People have died so we could be out here doing this'. 'America has moved a lot further to the right since the 60s and70s. Back then, it was the Cold War, so things could be justified. Now it's just the military-industrial complex carrying on with business.' 'Osama Bin Laden was very successful at sapping our resources and turning people against us. That's what he's done. Destroyed our freedoms. Now the President can kill Americans without any due process.' 'I didn't vote for either main candidate last time. I voted for the Green party candidate. Obama is a total bankster flunky. They are just two corporate parties.' 'My daughter voted for Obama. I wouldn't even talk to her. But when he increased the troops in Afghanistan, she covered over her old bumper sticker. Bumper stickers are a hell of a problem to take off.' 'I'm thankful that I won't have to vote for Obama because it means that I won't have to vote for a war criminal. It looks like he's going to win anyway. It's terrible having to choose between the lesser of two evils.' 'Mind you, every President has been a war criminal. I'd be happy to pull the trigger if they all were executed, all except president Carter. I'd take his place in the execution line, because he destroyed all the Guinea worms. I'd forgive him Central America and I'd forgive him Afghanistan, because of his work getting rid of the Guinea worms.' The US Presidential election will be held on 6 November, 2012.
