An editorial on the subject of immigration and the election in the Daily Mail newspaper. This followed an incident in which Prime Minister Gordon Brown had described a voter as 'bigoted' after she talked to him about immigration. The Labour Party leader had spoken with Gillian Duffy during an election campaign stop in Rochdale, and his subsequent comments about her were seen as a major gaffe. The Mail was supporting the opposition Conservative Party in the 2010 general election.
