Ingar "Igor" Strand flies down Trollstigen. The mountain range of Trollstigen and Trollveggen are popular with tourist, but are also favourite destinations with BASE jumpers. Trollstigen is the name of a particularly winding mountain road popular with tourists. It has also become a popular place for BASE jumpers as the access to the mountain is fairly easy. It also one of the few places they can show off their flying skills to the public. Most other places are quite remote. Trollveggen is the only place BASE jumping is prohibited in Norway. The law is regularly ignored by jumpers who think it outdated. Norwegian BASE (Bridge, Antenna, Span, Earth - ie. parachute jumping from fixed objects) jumpers using wingsuits. First they drop vertically to gain speed, then the suits allow them fly over the sloping landscape. © Fredrik Naumann
