Josep Simon Mill (82). A Republican, he went into exile in France after the civil war, leaving behind his wife and daughter. He joined the French resistance but was caught by the Vichy authorities and taken to the Mauthausen Nazi concentration camp, where most Spanish political prisoners were incarcerated. He survived until liberation at the end of World War II (WW2).
