Old paperwork litters the floor in the now abandoned Robinson cork factory. The factory was founded in 1840 and stayed in production till 2009, at which time it was still partially powered by steam energy. At its peak the company employed 2000 labourers and cork is still Portugal's most important export product. /Felix Features
