Cecilie holds Victoria as they travel to a private clinic in Kathmandu. For the first time in her life Victoria breathes fresh air, sees the blue sky and hears the noises of the outside world. 19 month old Victoria (formerly named Ghane) was born with hydrocephalus and was left abandoned. Cecilie Hansen was so moved by the story of Ghane she read in a Danish newspaper that she decided to fly to Kathmandu to try to assist her and show her the love of another human being; Cecilie eventually became her legal guardian. Victoria died on November 19 2010 from heart failure.
