The Hawa Mahal, known as the Palace of the Winds. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god. It has 953 small windows called jharokhas that are decorated with intricate lattice work intended to allow the women of the court to see outside without being seen.
